About Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Take your revenue to new heights. Sell and bill on one platform. Configure, Price, and Quote complex deals all on the world's #1 CRM.
For a mid to large stage company, this is definitely a required feature and the native SFDC integration makes it easy to consume.
I know it was quite difficult to implement for my team. It took a few months to have it completely built out.

Salesforce - winner
Comments: Overall its a great program. Definitely an upgrade from previous programs i have had the displeasure of using.
Pros:
This program is very interesting to use, alittle difficult to learn at first, however once you get the hang of it its a breeze.
Cons:
Multiple complicated steps to get to your desired location within the program.
No Expert on Salesforce
Comments: Overall once you have it customized to what your business needs to will capture it all. I just do believe we don't know what we dont know and need more help.
Pros:
I do like we can customize most of the aspect.
Cons:
It is a lot, not for the entry level business or less tech savvy person. I do think for us wanting to grow we will love that we did take on salesforce, however we have used extensive outside consultants to help and I believe still not in a great user space.
Designed to Streamline all your business needs
Comments: It takes a lot of work to incorporate the date but once you get it streamlined, you can sit back and let it do the work for you with little oversight.
Pros:
Does a great job at managing all business prospects and syncing all data to ensure you can pull the right contacts and keep track of the contributions highlighted so you know where you are struggling and who is generating the most revenue throughout the year.
Cons:
There is a lot of data to incorporate and it will take some time to streamline everything Salesforce can do.
Organized System for Data

Cons:
It’s a bit of a learning curve to understand how to use the program
Great CRM for ANY Business
Pros:
User friendly and it can be personalized for any company's needs.
Cons:
The different viewing methods. I think it should be streamlined.
Excellent Tool for Comapnies
Comments: A reliable tool for ensuring smooth sales/revenue processes with clients worldwide.
Pros:
Tracking revenue and managing international contracts has never been easier with Salesforce.
Cons:
Some features have a learning curve, especially for new users.
Good solution for CRM
Comments: Solution works well for effective CRM and I would recommend it for consideration for a medium-large organization.
Pros:
Makes it easy to govern a large sales team with real time reports and information.
Cons:
My sellers grumble that they spend too much time updating the tool. We tried to improve this by linking their calendar and email to Salesforce, yet then the complaint is the company is "big brother". Anther challenge is the cost of IDs limits the number of admins we allow into the system, hence managers are sometimes encouraged to manage through published reports rather than logging into Salesforce

If your need is on cloud CPQ, try Salesforce CPQ previously known as Steelbrick
Pros:
It's intuitive UI, and simple QLE page which calculated everything at backrnd
Cons:
Sometimes it becomes hard to migrate data
Salesforce CPQ maintains its ease of deployment and collection of information
Comments: We will be using Salesforce CPQ inside our sales workgroup for a couple of years, but as of today we will be implementing it group-wide. Because of this, we have totally changed the layout we started with. Because we have the ability to incorporate procedures such as marketing rules and approval processes, our sales reps may not need much help.
Pros:
Your support group is wonderful. All the queries I have raised have been answered in a clear and prompt manner. It facilitated field and design changes within our creations and budgets. This has made it possible for me to customize the tool to fit our particular pricing pattern.
Cons:
Currently we are not able to display how costs change annually on a quote account. But, I was told this would be implemented in an upcoming update. The web-based sustaining issues could be more specific. He was very confident in his support group because the recommendations on the internet were not clear.
Great Tool for sales heavy orga
Comments: Being able to link all of our revenue processes with the unified model has eased a lot of pain points.

CPQ for us
Comments: In general we are very pleased with the results from adding CPQ to our ERP.
Pros:
CPQ provides the sales team with a stable and dependable tool for creating complicated quptes.
Cons:
It was NOT easy to set up and it is not intuitive - it requires training and persistence.
Very Easy to Use!
Comments: Overall, Salesforce was a great platform to keep track of potential sales, leads, clients. It was also very easy to input data.
Pros:
I like the fact that it integrates with online search engines.
Cons:
i found it to be a little hard to navigate right away.
Better for Simpler Pricing Modules
Comments: Overall its easy to maintain and allows for native SF features which makes it a great add on for customers already using Sales Cloud.
Pros:
Since this is obviously an SF platform- the ease of implementation is great as well as the fact that there is not a huge learning curve- it operates just as other SF objects.
Cons:
It can be very complicated to implement a pricing structure if you do not have a "simple" pricing module. We have tried 3 separate times (& used certified experts and contractors) to try and implement our pricing module and it did not work- I will say our pricing structure is much more complicated than it should be but its still been a huge issue.
