No Expert on Salesforce

3.0 last month New

Comments: Overall once you have it customized to what your business needs to will capture it all. I just do believe we don't know what we dont know and need more help.

Pros:

I do like we can customize most of the aspect.

Cons:

It is a lot, not for the entry level business or less tech savvy person. I do think for us wanting to grow we will love that we did take on salesforce, however we have used extensive outside consultants to help and I believe still not in a great user space.

Designed to Streamline all your business needs

5.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: It takes a lot of work to incorporate the date but once you get it streamlined, you can sit back and let it do the work for you with little oversight.

Pros:

Does a great job at managing all business prospects and syncing all data to ensure you can pull the right contacts and keep track of the contributions highlighted so you know where you are struggling and who is generating the most revenue throughout the year.

Cons:

There is a lot of data to incorporate and it will take some time to streamline everything Salesforce can do.

Good solution for CRM

4.0 3 weeks ago New

Comments: Solution works well for effective CRM and I would recommend it for consideration for a medium-large organization.

Pros:

Makes it easy to govern a large sales team with real time reports and information.

Cons:

My sellers grumble that they spend too much time updating the tool. We tried to improve this by linking their calendar and email to Salesforce, yet then the complaint is the company is "big brother". Anther challenge is the cost of IDs limits the number of admins we allow into the system, hence managers are sometimes encouraged to manage through published reports rather than logging into Salesforce

Salesforce CPQ maintains its ease of deployment and collection of information

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: We will be using Salesforce CPQ inside our sales workgroup for a couple of years, but as of today we will be implementing it group-wide. Because of this, we have totally changed the layout we started with. Because we have the ability to incorporate procedures such as marketing rules and approval processes, our sales reps may not need much help.

Pros:

Your support group is wonderful. All the queries I have raised have been answered in a clear and prompt manner. It facilitated field and design changes within our creations and budgets. This has made it possible for me to customize the tool to fit our particular pricing pattern.

Cons:

Currently we are not able to display how costs change annually on a quote account. But, I was told this would be implemented in an upcoming update. The web-based sustaining issues could be more specific. He was very confident in his support group because the recommendations on the internet were not clear.

Better for Simpler Pricing Modules

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: Overall its easy to maintain and allows for native SF features which makes it a great add on for customers already using Sales Cloud.

Pros:

Since this is obviously an SF platform- the ease of implementation is great as well as the fact that there is not a huge learning curve- it operates just as other SF objects.

Cons:

It can be very complicated to implement a pricing structure if you do not have a "simple" pricing module. We have tried 3 separate times (& used certified experts and contractors) to try and implement our pricing module and it did not work- I will say our pricing structure is much more complicated than it should be but its still been a huge issue.
