Platform of the future for the association sector

Comments: A year ago we were looking for a system that would allow us to modernize our service to members. We evaluated three member management systems and it was Olatech who really stood out. We have created a portal which now allows us to manage, among other things, the renewal of memberships, meetings of our political caucuses and commissions, communications with our thousands of contacts, our purchasing groups, our labor relations services, our events, billing, our help center, etc. Each time we want to add a new project we are surprised at the ease and speed of realization.

Pros:

- Very high capacity for customizing the system according to our work processes. - Ability to operate the system without the need for a computer programmer. - Olatech's customer service was beyond our expectations throughout the implementation. - The flexibility of the architecture behind the system allows the platform to evolve quickly to carry out our new projects.

Cons:

- With the great flexibility of the system comes a longer learning curve and requires more personalization work to our work processes.

Comments: We have been using In1Touch since 2017. Overall, we are very satisfied with it. With all of the automation you can set up, it has decreased the HR time significantly. We have one main support person- which is great because he knows all of the ins and outs of our system.

Pros:

It's an all-in-one product. We used to use so many different platforms before- AMS, surveys, email, website, conference, etc. Having everything in one place makes it simple for staff.

Cons:

For most users it is pretty straightforward but it takes a while before you can start doing the more complicated set-ups on your own.

in1touch Works Well For Us

Comments: We have been clients of Olatech since 2012. Initial set up was good. Migration of data was pretty smooth. The integration with our payment gateway took a long time to get working but that was more the fault of Chase Paymentech than Olatech. We received a couple of training visits and were provided ample support in the initial set-up stages. With this system, there was definitely a learning curve. We are a small organization with two super-users and three casual users. The casual users find the interface is not intuitive and are not using the system to its capacity. The super users are fairly proficient but it took several years to get to that level. We use in1touch to register members, grant licenses, hold elections, record professional development, register users for events, publish rosters, and email newsletters and notices. The graphic interface needs to be improved. We have provided a lot of feedback about the graphic interface that has gone unaddressed. Because the system is a reflection of our association's identity and values, and we want our members to use the system to its fullest, we would prefer more attention to detail in the way information is displayed. The developers are more concerned with how it works, which is fine but it needs to look polished too. The pluses: Response time to the issue tracking system is very good. System downtime is almost non-existent. The speed of the processes is quick. I like being able to access the system anywhere I have access to the internet. It allows me to work from home or quickly check something when away from the office. The report features are useful. There are a ton of data fields to run reports on. Reports are easily generated and exported to Excel. For an "off the shelf" solution, in1touch works well for our organization. There are a few things that could be improved, for example, communication between the users and developers. There should be a customer service layer, NOT a salesperson, who can bridge the gap between what the customer wants and what the developers care able to do. I think that would cut down on a lot of frustration and miscommunication.

Pros:

-Reporting functions. -Issue tracking. -Event registrations.

Cons:

-Lack of current manual. -Emails are difficult to format. -Doesn't export to Sage Accounting.

A configurable platform that meets all our needs

Comments: A giant learning curve for new clients. Multiple processes that can be adapted to our needs. GDPR compliant. A cheap solution for Associations looking for a secure, serious and professional Saas platform.

Pros:

The infinity variety of solutions to the needs we have and will have. A tracibility at hands of the super users. in1touch has at its disposition such configurable tools that confer to this IT solution a level of granularity in the set-up and the running of its processes that is barely provided by other softwares. Everything is at hand and manageable at the same place, including the CMS.

Cons:

Training and processes integrations take more time than with other platform. Super-users are key success of this solution.

Building a custom platform for our members, volunteers and staff

Comments: Our organization was looking for a platform that offered multiple solutions including membership management, website management, event registration and a mentorship matching. Through the flexibility of in1touch we have been able to create a custom platform for our members, volunteers and staff to use. We are continuously adding new features to our platform and the in1touch team has been a constant support to us, whether it be answering questions or assisting us with complex implementations.

Pros:

The ability to customize.

Cons:

Because of the ability to customize, noted above, the learning curve is pretty big.

In1Touch Management Solution

Comments: An amazing membership management/website solution along with the committee, mentoring, event registrations, surveys, document management and much more. It is a very customizable/ versatile and easy to use.
Implementation was seamless, no downtime, and support requests are handled quickly. I highly recommend this product.

Comments: Three years ago our Association was looking for a membership data management tool to simplify our registration, renewal and reporting systems. As a non-profit association that relied entirely on volunteer management, it was important that whatever system we implemented was economical, easy to use and employed good customer service and assistance when required. We reviewed three membership management systems and landed on in1touch from OlaTech as our preferred choice.
OlaTech presented us with a purchase option that fit our budget and met our needs. Training was made available, and varying administrative functionality allows us to ensure only those who need access to certain information have that ability. We have experienced excellent customer service from development through to our present day needs.
As a young and quickly growing organization, we wanted the ability to decide what member information we collected and what we called that information. in1touch allows us to name, add, modify or delete data fields as we see fit, something that other systems we looked at did not easily allow. Reports are easily set up, and anytime we require modifications to processes our requests are implemented on a very timely basis.
We are very happy with in1touch and OlaTech and would recommend both the company and the product to organizations requiring association management tools.

Comments: In1touch is the only software on the market that meets our needs. The team is extremely efficient. The plateform has many functionalities that are easily adaptable for our organization particularities.

Pros:

Easy to adapt to fit your needs. Easy to learn.

Cons:

Since it's all new to me, I had a lot of questions in the begining. so you need a lot of patience.

Review of Intouch by OlaTech

Comments: Our professional regulatory body was looking for a membership data management tool to upgrade our registration, renewal and reporting. After an exhaustive search and due diligence, our organization chose OlaTech for their integration of web interface and database management of members.
We have migrated from support and programming with assistance of OlaTech staff to being independent with very limited support (once or twice every 3-4 months). We have developed and customized their system to address our member needs making virtually our entire processes of registration, payment and renewal self-directed by members and moving all documents to a digital submission. In addition, we have customized the InTouch system for event management to allow complete registration, the most complex being a 400 member annual conference. Newsletters, emails, committee portals, web content and graphics, Council reporting and branch/network management are managed with the InTouch system. This has involved a high level of complexity based on the programming we have undertaken to facilitate these activities, however the system is extremely robust and flexible.

Comments: We are using in1touch to allow our members to manage their renewals, upload professional development and update contact information. Members now have the ability to review our records to ensure that their information is correct. We are able to send mass emails from the system and our bi-monthly E-News. We find that the in1touch program can do almost anything but there is a learning curve to use it to its best advantage. We found the design team very creative and the support team willing to make any programming changes possible to meet our needs. We keep finding new opportunities for member development within the system. We had our web page designed by the team and after bridging the learning curve have found that we can still manage the site ourselves, which is a huge advantage. We recently conducted a Compensation and Benefit survey through the system with great success. Upon reviewing the results we were able to make improvements and the next version is ready to go for 2018. It seems that the sky is the limit.

Comments: Our organization has been using in1touch for some time and I recommend it without reserve. Just be sure that you have the time and people resources to learn the system well, in order to make the best use of it.

Pros:

- Best in class customer support - attractive design - customizable user access - member drilldowns by association, name, registration number, date, events attended or not attended, or almost anything else: so useful - twitter/rss options - so many features - csv imports and exports - easy WYSIWYG editors for emails and events - rosters have so many uses - surveys with excellent results reporting - secure document library - robust settings management

Excellent product, above-and-beyond support

Comments: Our association was looking to update its membership management solution and website/CMS at the same time, and in1touch met or exceeded all of our requirements, in one package. Sales and support was top notch right from the starting line, with clear communication every step of the way. When launch day came, there were the usual hiccups (external, related mostly to changing web hosts, and a few glitches we hadn't anticipated), but Olatech helped us resolve those quickly. Turnaround time on support requests is quick, often with the solution itself in the first reply; when the solution isn't immediately available, the wait for a follow-up is short. Management of our member and event data is comprehensive and easy with in1touch, and there is room to grow, as in1touch offers features that were absent in all our previous association suites.

Comments: I have been using this product since 2009. in1touch is an excellent product for membership administration purposes. It keeps very good records of our membership data, and offers so many ways to group the members for distributing committee meeting notifications and other news. It is an excellent tool for storing documents and information online for our members. The members are becoming more familiar with using the product to their benefit as well. We have also enjoyed excellent Customer Service from in1touch.
